Day 11
Last year we made you your very own camera. You helped me with the sticky tape. (You are REALLY good at taping… everything!)
You still love playing with your home-made SLR! Today we had great fun taking photos of things in the garden:)
(You have 3 pairs of thongs- and you insist on wearing one black and one green, you sure have spunk! Your mama was the same when she was little, everything I wore had to be bright and bold!)

These are just gorgeous!
Thanks hun!
I LOVE the home made camera! :). What a great idea! My sister home made a camera when she was about 9 just by following instructions in a book but I don’t know if I have the patience for that.
Thanks Cara! You should deff give it a shot! It was easy- I got the idea because the kid picked up a roll of curling ribbon, strung it around his neck, looked through the hole and said “I got a camera!”
The curling ribbon tube had the black ends on it already, so we just had to cut a hole through a box that was the size we wanted. We then just shoved the tube through the hole and taped it in. Then I just stuck a cardboard button on the top.
He plays with it all the time!
Give it a shot! Our next mission is to actually paint it, and put a strap on it;)
