Day 37
Today you delighted us all day! You were funny, sweet, woke up from your nap extremely happy (this is not always the case;), and didn’t whinge at all!
Daddy had a shoot down at the beach this afternoon, so we tagged along. The beach was rather choppy… I’ve never seen so little sand at The Spit! The crazy rain over the last few weeks had reeked quite a bit of havoc it seemes! You were petrified of the water today- unlike last time we went, you were not happy to dip your feet in. We still had fun running around and chatting, and avoiding going anywhere near the waves.
Once Dad and finished shooting, and we had some play time, we headed off to get some pizza and have our family “home” evening lesson. It was lovely! I love hearing you recount the stories we tell you in your own words, after saying to us “Now I’m the teacher!” You sat so reverently as Dad and I sang you some songs, with a sweet little expression on your face. You are really enjoying our family nights, and so are we:)
You had a slice of pizza left over and I asked you if you were going to eat it, you looked at me very assertively and said “Certainly not!” Hahahahaha!
This is how I found you in the morning- reading “He bear, She bear”. It’s always been one of your favourite books.
That smile right there is the light of my life.
Hanging on for dear life!
Still not convinced you should be anywhere near the water haha.
Happy now that we are leaving the beach!
And a little pic of “Bump”. Only 14 short weeks to go until we meet our new family member! A little nervous yet extremely excited:)

Thanks Lis! I know so funny! I showed him the photo this morning and his little lip curled up to his nose (as in a “that is so not funny” expression, and he turned and gave Adam a dirty look! Hahahahah.
He was NOT touching that water…
Gosh – your family is gorgeous. And you look beautiful pregnant! Nothing sweeter than a pregnant belly, I think.
Thanks Georgia, I do love being pregnant:D When I’m not feeling bloated and puffy, I do feel super feminine! It’s the best!
Oh wow, the black and white one of him looking back is divine. Lovely set.
Thanks Rachael:)
What a lucky boy to have his life documented so beautifully! (Even the iffy moments like that time his parents tried to drown him at the beach 😉 But seriously, gorgeous images, each and every one of them.
Your photos are all gorgeous, just love them all!
