Day 116

I went to bed seriously early last night. I fell asleep while putting Ammon down, and when I woke, decided to jump straight into my own bed. It was bliss. I was up at the crack of dawn, and had time to relax and read to myself. I could possibly be a morning person if I actually went to bed early everyday;)

Today was ANZAC day. We had a lovely holiday. Lunch out the back with Nana and Poppa. I started cleaning out my wardrobe and took a stack of stuff down to vinnies. (Not quite nesting- just getting ready to move!). We popped over to our house to see our gorgeous oven installed as well as our sliding cupboard doors, shower screens and mirrors. They look fabulous! So so so close to being finished now. The floors are being sanded tomorrow and polished over the next few days- then all that is left inside is just the carpets!!! So exciting.

Highlight of the day (apart from seeing the house nearly finished) would have to be Ammon saying to Daddy a few times “You are my BEST friend Dad!” Ah those words always make me smile.

Admiring our new kitchen tap.

Freedom!

When we got home I let Ammon stick the poster tube out of the window. He was “spraying” Dad with his fire hose and laughing hysterically as Dad stumbled and fell each time he squirted him. He didn’t see Dad race around the other side of the car to attack from the inside- needless to day he squeeled with laughter as Dad grabbed him unexpectedly from behind.
