Day 161

Today the driveway was supposed to get done at our new home so that we could move in next week… we got a call from our friend Matty (who is doing the concreting for us) telling us that he had concussed himself and there was a massive rain front on the way (the crazy kid was still considering doing it with his head split open- luckily he was convinced otherwise!).

So Adam said to me. Well, we are moving today then…. WHAT! So yep. We threw our things into our cars and in the trailer (it’s amazing how much “stuff” you can fit into such a small space!) and moved into our new house. I did a mad rushed shop (as we had no food, or toliet paper;) and in we shifted.

I had to head off at 6ish as I had a ladies dinner planned- our beautiful Stake Primary Presidency were throwing an appreciation dinner for all the ladies serving in Primary Presidencies in EMP Stake. It was really lovely! The food was delicious- Chicken soup for entree, yummy lamb cutlets for main and a plethora of delicious desserts. Needless to say… I ate WAY too much.

Ammon enjoyed “helping” us move, and was delighted to find a new colander to be his “fireman hat” just like the “Busytown Firefighters”.

Grateful to be spending the night in our new home!
