Day 190

This morning while we were getting ready for church we were listening to some childrens church music on Spotify (man they have EVERYTHING!). I asked Adam to find a song that was a favourite of mine as a child. “Where is Heaven”. Mum had it on cassette when I was a little girl, and it was my most favouite song. It did wonderful things inside my heart. Thinking back, I think listening to that song was a real happy place for me- and perhaps coincides with my first memories of feeling my Heavenly Fathers love. I wanted to play it for Ammon. He loved it too- and listening to it, those same feeling swelled within me. I felt so blessed. When you are with the ones you love, Heaven really is right where you are… (I may have gotten a little teary, but luckly Adam didn’t notice;) (He is a teaser!).

Here are the boys looking so handsome dressed for church:)

Ammon was delightful tonight. He is not feeling 100%, and was happy to climb into bed, with NO complaints (unbelievable!). We played a game where he had to shop for a book. I was the shop keeper, and he only had enough money to buy one book. So, he happily selected his book and paid his “money”. I left the room then came back in as “mum”. We climbed into bed, read “The Diggingest Dog”. After we finished, I said goodnight, I love you and I’ll see you in the morning. We gave one another a kiss, I left the room and that was that! Not once did he say, “lie with me” or “I NEED you”. He just happily snuggled down into his bed and went to sleep:) Oh bless. 2 kids asleep by 7:30pm!

This was my fave shot- the first one I snapped off.

And Adam liked the one that was a little more formal:) (Abe does look rather adorable and grown up, I do admit).

(No Ammon has not been punching walls;) We were walking up the front starts last night in the dark, he was carrying his bag and he fell and scraped his hand).
