Day 264

This evening I went along to an event run by my lovely new friend Emma (The friend I met at the park a month or so back). She and a girlfriend run a group called “Seasons, Womens Cafe”. They have one meeting per season, and invite inspirational local women to come and chat about what they do. Tonight we were blessed to hear from the founder of Peachtree Perinatal Wellness who told us a little about the wonderful organisation they run to support women, and set up support networks for women who are suffering from perinatal depression. (Pregnancy related depression- post natal etc). Which was basically a reminder to keep an eye out for each other! You can read a little more about what they do on their website:) They are a great resource if you or someone you love is experiencing this form of depression.

After Emma interviewed the guest of honour Deb, we had a fun little craft activity in which we helped each other make a fingerprint tree. The mini light blue “leaf” is Abe’s thumb print… awwwww!:)

I had a really lovely evening! (Thanks Emma!).
